Theology of Evangelization Course 4 – Lesson 11 Practical Activity

  1. Spend a Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament reflecting on the co-mission you share with Jesus, the call to evangelize. Thank him for the successes, repent of the times you’ve been indifferent to the call. Finally, be sure to ask the Lord to visit you in the night, as He did Solomon, and to bestow upon you a life-changing wisdom and knowledge that will give you the grace to evangelize, to lead people to Jesus, like never before.
  2. At your earliest convenience, allot an extra 20 minutes the next time you are going shopping for anything.  Prior to shopping, take a few minutes to ask the Holy Spirit to inspire your heart just as the disciples were inspired when they left the house at Pentecost. Having left yourself some extra time to shop, happily allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into direct evangelization encounters.
  3. Ask Jesus to reveal to you someone with whom you have a relationship that He would like you to enter into a relational evangelization experience with.  Ask Jesus to show you how He wants you to go about it.  Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you when you carry out this awesome and holy mission!
  4. When you are ready, post in the Community Forums about your experience doing this practical activity. There is a specific topic created for this. Also, give a constructive question or comment about the lesson, or somebody else’s post on their experience doing the practical activity. All of this is required for your Theology of Evangelization certificate of completion!
